High-performance fibers for MaXafe heavy-duty lashings
55 mm force packages secure the heaviest loads
In order to further improve handling and efficiency when securing heavy machinery, SpanSet now processes a wide variety of high-performance fibers in load securing. Fibers with low elongation, high fiber, cut and abrasion resistance are particularly advantageous for slinging and load securing technology. This is because they combine exceptional mechanical properties with low weight.
The new development "MaXafe" presented at the IAA Commercial Vehicles 2018 in Hanover is such a future-oriented heavy-duty lashing system: fibers made of high-performance polyester have a characteristic property profile; among other things, they exhibit extremely high tensile strength. MaXafe also impresses with an exceptionally low elongation of no more than 2% - according to the standard, a lashing strap may have up to 7% elongation. The new lashing strap, which is only 55 mm wide, shows the same strength as a standard 75 mm strap, but is lighter and therefore easier to handle due to the reduction in material and weight.
SpanSet offers the heavy duty lashing system in 2 versions with various fasteners: Once with a lashing capacity LC 5,000 and 55mm bandwidth and on the other hand - with high-strength fasteners and double laid webbing in the Carlash principle - with a permissible lashing capacity LC 10,000 with 55mm bandwidth.
