New SpanSet catalogue with interesting facts for the wind industry
The SpanSet Group has published an up-to-date catalogue of its wind power-specific products. On 90 pages, the company summarises its product range for the international onshore and offshore industry in order to guide decision-makers in the industry specifically to suitable solutions for the various applications.
BeWith the construction of ever more powerful and larger wind turbines, the demands on grabs, lifting beams or heavy-duty round slings are constantly growing. Safe slinging and lifting therefore requires further technical developments, which SpanSet realises in cooperation with various testing institutes. With the new catalogue, customers now have a clear reference work on proven products and many new additions to the range.
Total solutions from a single source
The range reflects the product range of the entire group of companies. Here you will find load handling equipment from the mechanical engineering and steel construction company SpanSet Axzion GmbH, textile slings as well as load and height safety equipment from SpanSet GmbH & Co. KG and coatings or surface protection elements from SpanSet secutex GmbH. In addition, the catalogue contains information on SpanSet safety management: training, testing and services to ensure the correct use of the products.

New developments of the Axzion brand
One of the notable new developments of the Axzion brand is the "Upending Tool". It is currently the largest grab in the world and was developed for lifting monopiles with a maximum weight of 1,500 tonnes. The "Tower Tool Kit" is also new. The system solution consists of a heavy-duty round sling, hook and turning rollers and thus has all the necessary components for lifting and erecting steel towers.
