Gotcha Suspension Loop

The Gotcha Suspension Loop is a rescue aid to help alleviate the effects of ‘post fall harness suspension’ whilst the casualty awaits recovery.  

It will only work for persons suspended in a full body harness, less than 4m from their anchorage (maximum deployment of a fall arrest lanyard).

Inside the bag is an adjustable webbing loop that the suspended person can stand in.  
The Gotcha Suspension Loop is first attached to the anchorage that the casualty is suspended from.

The loop is then deployed from the bag and dropped down to the casualty.  

The webbing is then adjusted so that the casualty can stand in the loop to relieve the pressure from their harness and move their legs.
The Gotcha Suspension Loop is designed so that a team of workers can carry one and hang it up at the workplace where it will provide cover for all of them.

Alternatively on major sites it can be located next to similar emergency equipment such as fire extinguishers or first aid equipment so that it can provide cover for all workers in that area.
The Gotcha Suspension Loop is not a substitute for the rescue of a suspended casualty, but will be an excellent part of any rescue solution.

The Gotcha Suspension Loop is not classed as PPE and therefore does not require a CE or UKCA mark.

There are also no relevant European Norms to test it to, so we have rated it for its intended purpose and tested it to prove this. 
The product is produced under SpanSet’s ISO 9001 Quality Assurance procedures.
The assembly has been tested statically to prove the Minimum Break Strength of 160kg.

The Gotcha Suspension Loop has also been field trialled to ensure that it is both practical and effective.
