Work-related fatal injuries in Great Britain 2024

The Health and Safety Executive’s (HSE) recently published their Work-related fatal injuries in Great Britain 2024 report.

 

According to the figures, 138 workers were killed in work-related incidents in 2023/24 and 50 of those fatal injuries were attributable to falls from height, accounting for 36% of all work-related deaths in this period.

Every worker deserves the correct Training to ensure they can work safely and get to go home at the end of their shift.

Should a fatality or serious injury occur, Businesses are at risk of regulatory investigation, prosecution and large fines.  Individuals risk a custodial sentence for the most serious breaches of health and safety law.
