SpanSet - how we can help with safety critical training during this difficult time

SpanSet understand the current situation developing around Covid-19 will be causing uncertainty for our Training customers regarding how they should proceed with existing and future bookings.

Here’s how we can help…

We are focused on supporting our customers, especially those in key industry sectors such as Policing, Health Care and Hygiene, Military, Logistics and Utilities. Our business continuity planning is allowing us to adjust our operations to ensure we can deliver safety critical training to our customers on an ongoing basis.

If you have an existing training booking, or require safety critical training during this period of disruption we have the following policies:

Existing bookings for training courses to be held at the SpanSet training centre

These courses remain available and SpanSet is following Government guidance to mitigate risk to staff and delegates attending training at our premises.

Existing bookings for training courses to be held at the customers’ site

The SpanSet customer Service team will be in contact to discuss your specific site policy and the training course requirements. SpanSet will help customers adjust the booking and practical preparations for these courses to ensure you are able to follow the latest Government guidance while continuing to complete the training.

Customers considering cancelling their training bookings because their company deem it to be non-essential activity need to be aware of the following actions we have taken:

  • Theory training courses will begin to be delivered remotely via a digital platform.  Our use of this technology will ensure that the delivery will be live, face-to-face and interactive with the professional instructor. The first scheduled digital remote training courses are to be run on week commencing 6th April. SpanSet’s preparation and application of this technology will ensure the training experience and quality of delivery are not affected and therefore the qualification level will remain the same.
  • Customer with existing bookings will be offered the option to transfer their booking to a scheduled digital remote theory course. However, if this is not practical, or you do not have the hardware available to facilitate this SpanSet can also offer to defer the booking to a future agreed date.

SpanSet feel it is important to support our customer in this time of disruption and react to the new pressures customer are facing, we also feel that is important to ensure that critical industry sectors are supported to ensure their business continues to function safely. The team here will continue to find further solutions to support our customers and welcome customers to contact us who are unsure of how proceed with their training needs.
