Gotcha Rescue Training at Sibbald Park
following successful Open Day
Last week, the Teams at SpanSet and Sibbald welcomed customers from all over Scotland to the launch of the newly installed Gotcha Rescue Training facility.
Sam Wilkinson, Training Manager at SpanSet has designed the structure to include different sections which are best suited to the individual Gotcha courses available, together with a viewing platform allowing candidates to observe from above as well as from the ground.
The Gotcha Training structure is sited indoors – perfect for learning, whatever the weather.
During the Open Day Gotcha Rescue, CRD and Evacuation demonstrations were given by members of the SpanSet Instructor Team to showcase the new facility. Rescue demonstrations were also given off the Installed Wire fixed system used for Rooftop courses and out of Sibbald’s excellent Confined Spaces Training area using SpanSet’s Xtracta equipment.
Simon Mitchel, Technical Consultant at SpanSet gave a range of lifting product and training demonstrations as advanced plans are in place to offer Lifting Training at Sibbald Park in the coming weeks – watch this space!
There was ample opportunity to ask the Team questions and to network over lunch.
At SpanSet we are delighted to be able to offer our iconic Gotcha Rescue Training at a convenient location for customers based in Scotland. If you are interested in genuine Gotcha Training, delivered by SpanSet Instructors at Sibbald Park, please contact Rachael Hazeldine 07811 849097.
"Thankyou for the invite to the open day at Sibbalds training facility it was a great day and demonstrated the range of products that Spanset have which was an eye opener to myself. I was very impressed with the professional way that you are other SpanSet demonstrators played out the different scenarios in a safe manner while still able to answer questions from everyone. The information was clearly briefed during the demonstrations which helped make my mind up on a few different products and future training.
Again I would like to thank you and your team for a very enjoyable and worthwhile day." Ian Morrison TechIOSH | Regional SHEQ Manager, Lyndon SGB
"The Open Day, showcasing the newly installed Gotcha Training structure, was a great success – I even got to be a ‘casualty’ expertly rescued by my colleague, Liam during one of the Gotcha demonstrations.
The investment in training facilities doesn’t end here, watch this space for news on the availability of Lifting courses at Sibbald Park – coming soon!
My thanks to all who attended and to the Team at Sibbald for organising the event." Rachael Hazeldine, Business Development Manager, SpanSet Training
