..you can access 70% funding towards a wide range of Training courses, free of charge via the CITB’s Employer Networks.
CITB pay the 70% funding direct to SpanSet – no grants, no complicated paperwork!
Employer Networks (EN's) are an initiative set up and funded by CITB to simplify the way businesses in the construction industry get the support and funding they need to access training.

CITB (Construction Industry Training Board) supports construction companies to develop their workforce by investing in training and improving skills.
Join your local CITB Employer Network to benefit from streamlined access to training, generous financial support, and the opportunity to help shape the future of construction training in your region.
How to find out more and access the funding
Ensure you are CITB registered and levy payments are up to date.
Contact your local Employer Network Engagement Advisor.
If you know which Training course you are interested in, your Advisor will be able to help with booking and arrange direct payment of the 70% funding, keeping administration to a minimum. CITB registered Employers do not need to complete any paperwork to apply for the funding.
If you know what type of training you require but aren’t sure where to access it, your Local EN Advisor will be able to help source a suitable Training provider. Local Advisors can book Training courses across England, Scotland and Wales.
CITB will subsidise all training by 70%. You pay 30% of the cost of the course upfront. However, if the training is not completed due to absences, you will be responsible for covering the full cost of the course.
