Access, Egress and Rescue using Confined Space Equipment

A course which will provide the following knowledge and practical skills -

• Understanding the benefits of using a Tripod, Winch and Recovery Block when carrying out certain confined space operations.
• How to successfully operate a Tripod, Winch and Recovery Block including pre-use checks and assembly.
• How to correctly fit and adjust a confined space harness
• Carry out a controlled lift and lower of an operative
• Retrieve an unconscious casualty that is attached to a recovery system.

Please note: this course does not cover hazardous atmospheres and gas monitoring or the use of escape breathing apparatus. SpanSet recommend that delegates attending this course should also complete the Working in Confined Spaces - Low Risk Course.
