Advanced Scaffold Inspection | Simian Risk
PRE- COURSE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- Candidates must have a good knowledge of written & spoken English.
- SpanSet reserves the right to exclude unsuitable delegates from training courses.
- Delegates must be 18 years or over.
Prior to attending a CISRS Advanced Scaffold Inspection course, attendees must have held a CISRS Basic Scaffold Inspection Card for a minimum of two years; or have held a CISRS Part Two Scaffolding card for two years; or be an existing Advanced Scaffold Inspection card holder. Delegates must also have passed a CSCS Health, Safety & Environment test within two years of the course date, or hold a CISRS approved exemption.

- Fan boards and public protection
- Mobile, static and loading towers
- Beams and bridging beams
- Reading and interpretation of scaffold design drawings
- Various types of system scaffolding
- How to carry out a scaffolding inspection
- Scaffold tagging systems
- Scaffold inspection exercise
- Knowledge test and assessment
CERTIFICATION
On successful completion of the course, learners will receive a CISRS certificate of completion, and SIMIAN will apply for a CISRS Advanced Scaffold Inspection card, on the learner’s behalf.
