OVERVIEW
- For the more experienced Rope Access Technician who holds current Level 1 certification and has a minimum 1000 logged hours over a 12 month period. Passing your Level 2 can lead to enhanced employment opportunities as you will be considered a more advanced technician.
- The Level 2 course covers a wide range of technical rigging methods and a variety of rescue skills. There is a greater emphasis on theory and knowledge although the course remains mostly practical.
COURSE CONTENT
Delegates will cover the range of tasks undertaken by Level 1 technicians with the addition of more advanced rigging and rescue techniques.
PRE-COURSE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
- Delegates must be 18 years and over.
- All delegates must be able to certify they are physically fit and have no medical conditions that might prevent them working at height prior to commencement of training. (A list of conditions that could affect practical training is available upon request. If in doubt, call our team on 01606 738529 for advice prior to booking).
- SpanSet reserves the right to exclude unsuitable delegates from training courses.
- Must be holder of IRATA Level 1 certificate with 1000 hours logged as a Level 1 over a 12 month period.
Certification
On successful completion candidates will receive a certificate valid for three years.
