OVERVIEW
- An IRATA L3 Supervisor is responsible for rope access safety on work projects.
- This course is for the most experienced Rope Access Technician who holds Level 2 certification and has at least 1000 logged hours at Level 2 over a 12 month period. Passing your Level 3 can lead to enhanced employment opportunities as Level 3 Supervisors are much sought after within the Rope Access Industry.
- Training is focused on ensuring you have a comprehensive knowledge of advanced rope access manoeuvres, rescue techniques and current legislation.
COURSE CONTENT
Delegates will cover the range of skills and knowledge undertaken by Level 1 and 2 technicians with the addition of a more comprehesive range of technically advanced rescue and rigging techniques .
In addition to this Level 3 covers supervisory/organisational skills such as rescue planning, preparation and review of risk assessment and method statements for rope access work projects.

PRE-COURSE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
- Delegates must be 18 years and over.
- All delegates must be able to certify they are physically fit and have no medical conditions that might prevent them working at height prior to commencement of training. (A list of conditions that could affect practical training is available upon request. If in doubt, call our team on 01606 738529 for advice prior to booking).
- SpanSet reserves the right to exclude unsuitable delegates from training courses.
- Must be holder of IRATA Level 2 certificate with 1000 hours logged as a Level 2 over a 12 month period.
- Must be holder of current Emergency First Aid Certificate
Certification
On successful completion candidates will receive a certificate valid for three years.
