New SpanSet Catalogue with Everything Worth Knowing about the Wind Power Industry

The SpanSet group has issued an up-to-date catalogue of its wind power plant specific products. 90 pages of the company's portfolio for the international on- and offshore industry designed to guide the decision makers specifically making suitable decisions regarding a variety of applications.

When constructing wind power plants with continuously increasing performances, the specifications for grippers, cross beams and heavy duty round slings also increase. For a safe anchoring and lifting technically developed products are required which SpanSet has put into practice in cooperation with different testing institutes. The new catalogue now offers the customer a clearly structured reference book combining traditional products with a number of portfolio novelties.

The portfolio mirrors the product range of the SpanSet group as a whole. Here you can find load carrying equipment offered by the machine and steel construction company SpanSet Axzion GmbH, textile sling gear and height safety equipment by SpanSet GmbH & Co KG and coatings or surface protection elements offered by SpanSet secutex GmbH. In addition, the catalogue contains information regarding the SpanSet safety management: trainings, tests and services which guarantee the proper use of the respective products.

"Our new product catalogue shows the advantages that SpanSet as a homogenous group has to offer,” explains Andreas Höltkemeier, managing director of the SpanSet group Germany. "The synchronized products of all three manufacturers can easily be combined for individual applications and incorporated into operations as a tested and certified complete system." Novelties of the Axzion brand
One of the remarkable new developments of the Axzion brand is the "Upending Tool". It is at present the biggest gripper in the world and was developed for lifting monopiles with a maximum weight of 1,500 ton. The "Tower Tool Kit" is also new. The system solution consists of a heavy duty round sling, hooks and turning rolls and thus contains all components necessary for the lifting and upending of steel towers.
