1 Day - Low Risk Confined Space Entrant & Entry Controller Course

Full Course Details

This one day classroom and practical based course is designed to provide 7 hours of classroom and practical instruction with assessment so that delegates can understand and follow the requirements of the Approved Code of Practice (ACOP) L101 - Safe work in confined spaces (Confined Spaces Regulations 1997) and the principles laid down in the National Occupational Standards EUSCS01 for Working in low risk confined spaces.

On completion of the course, delegates will have the requisite knowledge to enter or control entry into low risk confined spaces where access into the space appears simple and unobstructed and there is no likely risk of flooding with the area remaining safe under normal working conditions.

Gas monitoring may be required to ensure the atmospheric conditions prior to and during the work remain acceptable and the use of a tripod, winch and wearing of a harness may also be required for access and egress and in the event of an emergency.
