Practical
  • Checks & Use of Harness, Tripod, Winch & Gas Monitor
  • Set up Site, Pre-Entry Checks including Reviewing & Signing of RAMs
  • Allocation and Rotating of Roles within the Team
  • Pre-Entry Gas Testing & PTW Issue
  • Entry & Self-Evacuation Exercises

 

 
PRE-COURSE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: 
  • Delegates must be 18 years and over.
  • Delegates must have a good command of the English language
  • Delegates will require footwear and clothing to suit the course and weather conditions
  • General PPE will be provided
  • Confined spaces equipment will be provided
  • Practical training on the use of gas monitors, harnesses and tripod & winch will be delivered during this course. Delegates attending this course will be requested to complete a self-certification fitness questionnaire as it is important that delegates are free of any condition that might adversely affect
    their health or the safety of others whilst carry out the practical element of this course.
  • Practical training sessions require delegates to wear suitable clothing and basic PPE (overalls, boots and foul weather clothing) appropriate to the course, location and weather conditions. Course specific PPE/FPE/RPE (i.e. harness, tripod, winch, etc) will be provided by Morsafe.
Certification

On successful completion candidates will receive a Morsafe Limited E- certificate (valid for 3 years).
