Safety Harness and Introduction to Work at Height Training for Police Officers
A theory based, foundation course for Officers involved in Work at Height using Personal Fall Protection Equipment (PFPE).
This course is designed to provide all Officers at any level a basic understanding of the requirements to assess systems of work and equipment to operate at height safely.
Officers will also attain a thorough understanding of the principles of using PFPE including how to select the correct equipment for the task, pre use inspection, safe use, maintenance and mandatory record keeping.
Successful completion of this course provides a solid foundation from which Officers can then progress on to the practical elements of height safety training.
